gillo dorfles

2017

IGP Paestum Aglianico

Gillo Dorfles was a genius of the Italian ‘900, in love with Paestum and the majesty of its history. He spent his summers between art, the sea, the temples. And in our vineyards. Ruby in color, it is a red wine of important caliber, after an aging of 24 months in French oak barrels, which aims to conquer from the first glass but also to be able to challenge time. Just like Gillo.

at sight

Bright ruby red, compact, with nuances that turn to garnet.

to the nose

Wide and fascinating aromatic range, which gives intense fruity aromas of cherries in alcohol, blueberry jam and raspberries. Sweet spicy notes of pink pepper, cinnamon and liquorice. Balsamic notes accompanied by hints of vanilla and mustard.

on the palate

Warm and enveloping taste with great acidity, velvety and intense tannins. Aristocratic tannic finesse. Gives the palate clear, vibrant, refined and sumptuous sensations. Great olfactory persistence. Dynamic wine in full evolutionary phase, holder of a timeless aging potential.
