gillo dorfles

2016

IGP Paestum Aglianico

Gillo Dorfles was a genius of the Italian ‘900, in love with Paestum and the majesty of its history. He spent his summers among the art, the sea, the temples. And in our vineyards. With a ruby-violet color, it is a red wine of important caliber, after an aging of 24 months in French oak barrels, which aims to conquer from the first glass but also to be able to challenge time.
Just like Gillo.

at sight

Impenetrable ruby red with garnet hues.

to the nose

Herbaceous and vegetal scents reminiscent of underbrush, bell pepper, fig jam, candied fruit and aniseed with a chocolate finish accompanied by cloves. Notes of dried violet.

on the palate

Thick tannin texture, warm, persuasive, enveloping taste. Gives the palate clear, vibrant, refined and sumptuous sensations. Wine in full evolutionary phase, holder of a timeless aging potential.
