pino di stio

2019

Pinot nero

IGP PAESTUM ROSSO

Pinot Noir grapes. At 650 meters above sea level among the woods and mountains of Stio, in an area where the characteristic red pines grow, there is a small vineyard. A small piece of land that gives precious grapes from which we get a unique wine: 100% Pinot Noir, a rarity for Cilento and for the whole Campania. Seeing it flourish in the same land of Aglianico might seem like a gamble, but for us it is, instead, the result of patient and accurate work. An elegant, fragrant and silky wine.

at sight

Typical ruby red color with garnet hues.

to the nose

Extremely interesting bouquet with notes of ripe red fruit, and further fruity notes of cherry, raspberry, blackberry and blueberry. Inklings of violet, mint, tomato leaf, licorice, vanilla and cinnamon.

on the palate

The taste is immediately fresh, enveloping, elegant, charming, harmonious, round and refined and maintains its noble allure. Palate caressed by soft tannins. Enjoyable, epicurean and persistent finish, which crowns a drink of considerable depth.
